Xeta Mainnet Launches!
The long-awaited Xeta Reality Mainnet is deployed and live! From this point onward, all Mainnet transactions are stored permanently on the Xeta Blockchain. All existing bridge balances have been migrated from the Testnet. Faucet requests can be simply resubmitted. After two months of extensive testing, Xeta is now considered production-ready and stable.
With that said, we can’t accurately predict what additional updates Xeta might require once we scale Metaverse/3D apps and other creators start building and launching projects on Xeta — especially at scale. Instead of remaining in Testnet however, we have decided to launch the Mainnet with dedicated windows for upgrades on the last day of each quarter during 2022. These windows are:
Q1–31. March 2022
Q2–30. June 2022
Q3–30. September 2022
Q4–31. December 2022
During these reserved update windows, all Xeta nodes will be required to upgrade their software, resulting in intermittent network and endpoint accessibility. Data won’t be affected in any way — as all data that is stored on Xeta from today onwards is permanent.
At the end of 2022, after our final core update rollout on December 31st, we will consider the Xeta Reality Mainnet with all its logic final.
